Accordion tag album with box

Hello, DT Henriëtte here today sharing an accordion tag album and matching box.
I've made this project using the Eclectic charm papers.

I first made the accordion tag album.
I cut five tags out of heavy cardstock. They are 6 x 4 inches.
The tags are connected with tape to create the accordion effect.

Then I covered the tags with papers from the Eclectic charm collection.
I also made two pockets to put in ephemera or tags.

To close the album I used a crochet doily and ribbon. The doily is not attached.

Once I finished the mini album I knew the measurements to create the box.
Using the site "templatemaker.nl" I made a large matchbox.

I decorate the lid with laces, papers, flowers and
 leave die cuts.

Thanks for visiting the Blue Fern Studios blog.

Hugs, Henriëtte.

Christmas Tags

Hello, Henriëtte here sharing two Christmas tags I've made for the Blue Fern Studios and
Tres Jolie Kit Club You Tube hop, which you can still enter.

I used the Christmas Cheer collection to decorate two large chipboard tags.

I embossed the chipboard pieces with sparkly embossing powder and glitters.

More info about the You Tube hop:

My video can be found here:

For the YouTube hop, make sure you watch each video, thumbs it up, and comment for a chance to win a prize from Tres Jolie Kit Club and Blue Fern Studios. You have until December 20th to complete the hop.

Have fun hopping!

Hugs, Henriëtte.

Attic Charm Project by Bec

Hi Blue Fern Fans, today I have three projects made with the new Attic Charm Collection.
This collection is filled with the most gorgeous papers and pastel colours.

Stillness

First up I have a layout

I started by tearing the Curio paper and layering it onto the Sachet paper.
I then added some stamping with brown ink and the Serendipity Medley & Forever stamps before I added some texture paste through a stencil.

I treated the brick pieces out of the Shabby Brick bits with white crackle paste before I coloured them with a brown mist.

To colour the Roman Clock and Stillness title I used a mix of the Ginger, Oatmeal & Mushroom embossing powders.

I finished off the layout with some Tranquil Blooms & Tranquil Roses and Lilies mixed with a few extra flowers.

Tag Album

I made this tag min album by covering some tags with the Attic Charm papers.

For the cover I used the Swan Gate chipboard piece which I coloured with the embossing powders in Sea Mist, Breeze, Petal, Cotton Candy & Ginger

On the inside I used several of the Calling cards as well as lots of images I fussy cut.

Finally I  have a layout made with the June Sketch.
I flipped the sketch so my photo is on the other side of the page.

To colour the Lace Rounds and Scalloped Border I used distress inks.
I covered the Berry Stems with Oatmeal embossing powder.

On my background I used the Serendipity Medley stamp with the Honey embossing powder and the Forever stamp with brown ink.

I finished my layout off with Attic Charm Daises, Courtship Roses, Tranquil Blooms & Tranquil Roses and Lilies

Vintage Christmas Collection - winter feeling

Hi, so nice you found the time to visit the blog in the busy Christmas weeks.
Not everybody on this world celebrates Christmas .
Today I want to show you that the beautiful Vintage Christmas collection can also be used on other themed layouts .
The first one is a mixed media page on my favorite paper from the collection.
The background is gessod and for the color I used alcohol inks.
The title piece xoxo was painted white and I added some fairydust when it was still wet.
It gives a beautiful glitsery shine, which is hard to see in the picture.

I cut a Brick Ring in two and colored it with two colors ink.
The background stamps come from my favorit stamps out of the collection

My next layout is made after the beautiful sketch for this month challenge.

For me,  this picture shows the line between fall and winter.
I wanted to mirror the picture in my background.
There is a lot of stamping going on .
The chipboard grid piece was perfect to tuck under my photo cluster.
It holds the natural feeling I like .
The titel piece is embossed in dark brown.

Thanks for visiting the blog and Merry Christmas to all of you.
